German Red Velvet Peplum Dress
(B-36" W-26"-28" H- 34 1/2")

Vintage German 1940s dark red velvet peplum dress.

MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
Bust - 36"
Waist - 26" with belt closed (if you remove the belt, it is about 28 1/2")
Hips - 34 1/2"
Length - 38 1/4" could be taken down another 3 1/2"
Neck - 15"

The dress buttons down the front with fabric covered buttons and it also has a side zipper. The belt is attached, but it almost seems a bit too small, as if it was taken in. The belt snaps in place. There is a small piece of lining around the neck that has two snaps so that a removable collar could be worn.

It is decent condition, but it does have some issues. Two of the buttons are missing and one is different (it is a little larger and flatter than the others). Some of the teeth on the zipper are missing so it doesn't go all the way up (it stops about 1" short). There are several spots of wear in the material (most of which are pictured but there may be a few small spots that were overlooked).
