The pink, blue, brown and black pairs still have the fingers are still sewn together - so you know they have never been worn! The burnt orange pair do not have the fingers tied together anymore, but are still in excellent condition. One of the yellow gloves has the fingers tied together, the other does not.
They measure about 3" across the palm (they may stretch anther 1/4" max.) and they are about 10 3/4" long at the longest point.
These gloves came from the estate of a woman who, in the 1930s, was a seamstress who worked from her house and her husband was a traveling salesman. After the war, the area of Germany she lived in became East Germany and, under communism, she was not allowed to continue working from home. She packed away all of her remaining inventory in the attic and she and her husband went to work in a factory. We also have mittens from the same woman available here.
Nice and warm; perfect for the cold weather!
