Description
Vintage 1930s/1940s German full apron with blue needlework designs. The material feels to be cotton. The shoulder straps button at the waist and the waist has a tie in the back. There is one pocket on the right side.
It is in generally good condition, it does have some light yellow staining / discoloration (I tried to photograph it, but it is hard to see) - I have not tried to launder or iron it, so it may be able to be cleaned out. These kind of needlework aprons were popular in Germany during the war and well before; the reference picture is from a 1937 magazine.
The body of the apron measures about 30 1/2" long (at the longest) not including ties and along the bottom it is approximately 27 1/4" wide.
