Description
Rare WWII US Marine Corps Women's Reserve fatigue hat. It was only worn for one year and not all the bases had them either. This style was an experimental type thing that never made it because it was considered too frumpy with the seersucker summer service uniform.
The hat is a size 22. It is marked "Knox New York". There is other writing inside, but it is hard to make out,
Overall, it is in good/decent wearable condition, but it does show age/wear. There is some minor discoloration and there is a stain inside the brim. There are also a few pulls is the material. The color looks a bit off in the photos (I added one with flash to try to show the color better).Free shipping in the US.
