Description
Vintage 1940s WWII seersucker officer's jacket and hat with covers named to Alice Boon.
MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
Bust - 41"
Waist - 32"
Length - 24 1/2"
Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of cuff) - 23"Nice WAVES labels. Dark blue shank buttons. Officer Ensign rank. The jacket is in good condition, but there is a repair on the end of one sleeve.
The hat and covers are size 23. The band around the hat has snaps and the covers can be changed out. It comes with the seersucker cover, white cover, navy blue cover and the foul weather cover. All pieces are named to Alice Boon except the white cover has no name tag. The white and seersucker covers have some light stains and specks. The foul weather cover has the most wear and staining.
