Resin 3D printed reproduction model kit of the M39 egg grenade. Extremely detailed and accurate. Everything is the right shape, which is almost never the case with repro eggs. The body is made in two halves which snap together - much like an Easter egg. The fuse is hollow so you could put a little wire loop in there to attach the ball string to. The pull ball has 3 pieces; the threaded bottom, a cap, and a washer for the pull string. This is made from the strongest resin that I have yet found. It is not indestructible but it is quite strong and impact resistant enough to survive normal wear and tear. If you want to break it, you can, but the odds of breaking it on accident are acceptably low. It comes with a split ring of the correct size.
This is sold as a kit which comes fresh off the printer. Generally speaking, it is good enough to paint and assemble but you may want to sand a few edges where supports were detached from the printing process. Just inspect the egg before you paint it. The resin is UV cured and the parts are adequately hardened post print. Once the pieces are snapped together, they will be hard to take apart again. The fuse and pull ball are threaded. If you plan on playing with the fuse and pull ball a lot, then consider applying a tiny bit of oil to the threads to keep them from binding and wearing out over time.
