This is the second Prototype. It looks like I will be looking for a slightly softer bristle for the production model. I will also be altering the brush design slightly but at this point the visual appearance of the production brush will look almost exactly like this new prototype.

Yes, the German brush was colapsable like my reproduction and yes the originals were just as long as this reproduction. It is an interesting design and typical for German equipment, over complicated.

No weapon is complete without the cleaning brush that includes a mortar. This brush both looks the part and is also functional for those reenactors who either have a papered device or have created a signal cannon from their original or reproduction parts.
