Description
This is an original Bakelite model 41 Blende or black out cover for bicycle headlights. It measures 100mm in diameter. This was never used and is in good condition. These came in a very wide variety of colors using various fillers. The colors ranged from jet black to white and everything in between. The Bakelite is solid but is bubbling a little in places. This bubbling sometimes occurs over long periods of storage when the filler in the Bakelite breaks down a little.
It is attached to the headlight of your bicycle using four black rubber bands which are newly made (we include 5 rubber bands so you have a spare). Be careful when attaching it to your bike. This is the cherry on top of your truppenfahrrad restoration.
