description: These are the Postwar ax-hammer-nail pullers that other people offer only we took the time to erase the bundeswehr markings, clean them up, and repaint them with a more correct color. They are identical to the WWII model. The cover is a hand stitched reproduction of the simple version of the ax carrier. Yes, there were other verions so if it doesn't match the one you have or once looked at in a book, don't worry, this one is correct. These are great pieces to have especially if you have an engineers impression or act as a member of a gun crew as it was a common piece of that equipment; not to mention these are very usefull at reenactments to gather and split your firewood.

It might not seem a huge deal that we removed the BW markings and repainted them but when you put our ax next to a straight BW one you can see the difference.
